How does a cloud backup help?Ĭloud backup is a process of duplicating data over a network to a storage server located off-site, usually managed by a third-party service provider. It’s important to consider the specific needs of your organization and the advantages and disadvantages of each backup method before making a decision. Additionally, traditional backup solutions can offer more control and customization options compared to cloud-based solutions. Traditional backup players have been around for much longer and have a proven track record of reliability and security. While the cloud backup market is growing rapidly, traditional backup solutions still offer significant benefits to organizations. When it comes to data backup, the discussion of cloud backup versus traditional backup is an important one. One reason for this is that physical backups offer complete control over the backup and restore process.Īdditionally, physical backups can provide faster restore times and better protection against data loss due to malware or cyber-attacks. In fact, according to a recent survey conducted by Acronis, 86% of IT professionals still use physical backups as part of their data protection strategy. Not proof, but enough evidence for someone to express trust in this as a reasonable way of understanding the world.ģ. And I think Christianity has got a great deal of evidence to support it, biblical, philosophical. What we’re doing is trusting that they are an authority, that they’ve got the documentation and so on. We’re exercising faith every time we walk into a doctor’s surgery and trust them with our wellbeing. You might have good reasons to trust someone and that’s enough to put your faith in them. But obviously when you trust something or someone, not every aspect of your trust is proven. In other words, faith isn’t the opposite of evidence and testimony. The Oxford English Dictionary defines faith as a belief based on evidence, testimony or authority. That’s just one way people use the word “faith”. Check out Episode 19 ‘Scientific Theology’, Episode 6 ‘Rational Universe’ or Episode 3 ‘God Science’ (with John Lennox) for more!Ģ. The Undeceptions podcast has dealt with this question several times. Every scientific discovery – every real discovery – Christians ought to be able to say, “Fantastic, more of God’s wisdom is discovered.” In other words, every time science discovers how something works, what they’re actually discovering is how our universe is beautifully, elegantly, mathematically ordered. It’s precisely because we live in a rational, ordered universe that there must be a rational mind behind it. And that is the principle argument for God’s existence that philosophers have employed for years. It is rationally ordered that the elegant mathematics work at the tiniest level right out to the massive universal level. Science only strengthens our belief in God for the simple reason that the more science discovers, the more it is clear that our universe is not accidental. but in terms of the science/God thing, I reckon it’s a lot clearer. Sensible, godly, Bible-believing Christians have different views on that. But in terms of the actual issues, I’m of the view that Christians can disagree over evolution. Sometimes Christians have been a bit anti-science and I always think it’s important to respond with a bit of honesty. I think with any question that’s asked, you have to concede that there’s something to it. Science and God are opposed, right? Doesn’t evolution actually disprove the theory of creation? 2/2/2024 0 Comments New york highrise cityStill, he adds that nearby resources, like public transportation, could feel increased pressure from masses of residents. And I was experiencing just what you talked about- the state I was in not showing up in the m-paste page. I've stared at those pages in the manual so many times- and never figured out WTF or HTF to paste a state to another state so I could save it. Just wanted to say thanks for posting this up. Does that make sense? It happens to me all the time. Hold the m-paste pad (x) it should take you up a level and if, once you’ve done that you see a see a state glowing red and a state glowing orange, that means you aren’t in the right page and you should (I’m trying to remember here) select the orange one so as the red one is no longer lit, then hit (x) again and you should see what you’re expecting. If you aren’t seeing seeing the active state illuminated in orange or red on the m-paste page, it could mean that you are not on the correct m-paste page. I remember originally it confusing me a bit because it enables 2 very different functionalities, the Mesh and the Paste. Many thanks and sorry for a question that probably should be obvious to me.ĮDIT Ah yes! M-Paste is coming back to me now. Even going through the manual I'm having a hard time finding an answer to that. Slap of reality for me that sometimes you have to consider your modules almost as instruments where you have to practice them now and then or you risk loosing what you have learned.Īnyhow, Say I have state 3 in bank 1 running, is there an easy way to save it to a state in another bank? Some good things happened today, but I'm currently in a bank where I don't want to overwrite any of the current states, and I know I have banks that are empty, but I just can't figure out how. I did at one point, but the past 4 months I have to admit that I've been frequently engaged with the USTA, and with that sacrificed that deep knowledge that I once had with the Rene2. Needing some help from people that know the module well. In this case, the meter or bars of each sequence could be the same but the tempo and timing of each gate event and the ensuing melodies will be different but (hopefully) related to eachother. So now the advancement of the clocks on each channel is following a different tempo regardless of access settings. POLYRHYTHM: Feed different but somewhat related tempo clocks into X and Y channels clocks inputs. However, both channels will typically have the same tempo. So if you had a 4 step sequence on X (only access to 4 steps) and an 8 step sequence on Y, they would repeat together every two cycles on X. This is equivalent to changing the sequence length, so the two channels will be going in and out of sync with eachother occasionally lining up again and then phasing out. POLYMETER: Set up different settings for ACCESS on X versus Y. If we are just talking X and Y channels then: Otherwise it can receive a center-positive 9V adapter with a minimum.Rene will only advance to the next step when gates are received, hence, if you send it odd division off gates, you will have some polyrythms happening.Ĭool. *Note: The Multiclock needs a 2-prong Europlug to US plug converter in order to work with US power outlets. An added USB connection means that users can send MIDI messages from a DAW while simultaneously synchronizing with an audio clock. The Multiclock can be synchronized with incoming MIDI clock, DIN Sync, or analog clock signals from a modular synthesizer system. Incoming audio signals are first converted into clock signals then routed to the Multiclock’s four outputs. Timing information is sent to the unit from an audio track of the DAW, a process aided by an included plugin. There’s also per-channel Hot-Plug&Play support for MIDI, modular clock, analog LFO, and DIN.Īdditionally, any unused channel can be utilized as a MIDI controller.
